In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary. But when that light turns to dark, you gotta get a little creative with your options.

Earlier this year I attended a workshop ran by 3 kick-ass photographers: Jamie Sia, Shelley Richmond, and Jenny McCord. Each took the time to reel off their best tips for handling low light – whether it’s a winter wedding, a shadowy indoor space, or when the light simply begins to slip away. After some inspiring talks, demonstrations and meeting some amazing and talented people from up and down the country, I came away with some newfound inspiration for a subject we as photographers often find challenging and at times a little intimidating.
